Most Anticipated Releases: July-December.Thinking back on it I really should have but for some reason, I just didn’t see it.Īgain, Sarah Pinborough wrote a great book and I’m looking forward to reading more from her, especially some of her older stuff. Once the twist started in motion, I wondered why I didn’t see it coming. I was in a hurry for the end of this book because her endings are everything (Behind Her Eyes, read that if you haven’t already!) I wasn’t disappointed. I haven’t even read an adult book by Sarah with a scene like that! Not that those things aren’t in YA books sometimes, but there was one sex scene in particular that took place in a car and I was just really surprised by it. There was some romance throughout this book and I was actually really surprised by the amount of swearing and sex that was in it. This was such a fast paced read and lots of things happened, but it didn’t seem rushed at all. Yes, it wasn’t original because there are alot of books with memory loss after an accident but I didn’t feel like it was a book that I have read before. Every character was different and I feel like everyone who reads it could relate to one of them. They went to parties, had fights with friends, had relationships, went to school. They were all teenagers and they really seemed like they could be real people.

I’ve always enjoyed books where there is some sort of accident and the person forgets what happens and there is potential danger in finding out the truth.

It’s also the first young adult book from Sarah Pinborough that I have read. You don’t remember anything and your two best friends are acting strange. You also learn that your heart stopped for 13 minutes.

You wake up in the hospital and learn that you were saved by a man walking his dog by the cold water.
